The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Monday launched its manifesto for the 2020 general elections.

The 143-page document which was titled ‘The People’s Manifesto’ had the NDC promise at least 18 freebies across all sectors should it win elections this December.

Highlighting some portions of the manifesto, the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama promised free primary healthcare, tertiary education to persons with a disability, seedlings for cocoa farmers under agriculture among others.

Today on The Lockdown, host Emefa Apawu sits down with a member of the manifesto committee, Communications Director of the party, Sammy Gyamfi to discuss the plans and issues highlighted in the manifesto.
