Jorginho insists he’s ‘very happy’ at Chelsea and is not considering leaving the club in the summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old has established himself as a regular at the heart of Chelsea’s midfield under new boss Thomas Tuchel, starting nine of the German’s opening 11 Premier League matches following Frank Lampard’s dismissal.

But Jorginho continues to be heavily linked with Serie A outfit Napoli, where he became a fan favourite across his four-and-a-half year stay at the Stadio San Paolo.

Just last month, Jorginho’s agent suggested the Italy international would be open to offers to rejoin his beloved former club – and the midfielder himself fueled these rumours as he moaned about the miserable London weather while speaking to Canale 21.

However, in an interview with Brazilian outlet TNT Sports this week, Jorginho distanced himself from speculation that he could be set for the exit door with over two years remaining on his current contract at Stamford Bridge.

‘Dude, I’ll tell you the truth. At the moment, how am I going to think about the future two years from now, having what I still have to play this season,’ Jorginho said.

‘Then the European Champions are coming so honestly, there’s no way to think ahead.

‘In fact, I’m very happy here. I’m really happy here so I don’t think about anything else either.

‘Now, at the moment, there’s no reason to think about what will happen in two years, for example.’

Jorginho did, though, admit it was flattering to be linked with a possible return to Naples.

‘You like these things [laughs], I’m gonna tell you, You like these things,’ he added.

‘It will always exist. There will always be all of that.

‘But there’s no way I can think of anything else right now.’
