Tendulkar, who is the leading run-scorer in the history of international cricket, is now quarantining at his home.

He said in a statement: ‘I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay.

‘However, I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms, All others at home have tested negative.’

Tendulkar’s announcement comes as India experiences a spike in Covid-19 cases.
